Windows 8.1 cant download drivers usb device

I am trying to install the OS for the second time on the same PC. However, the installation couldn't go through. I had the following alert message "We couldn't find any drivers. To get a storage driver, click load driver.

Should I download the drivers to my hard drive c: drive and then copy and paste them over to the USB flash drive. I don't know if you have to copy them over to a folder on the Computers hard disc C: drive first and then install them from there?

If I select the device drivers on the USB stick will it correctly install to the C:drive hard drive or will it attempt to install to the USB flash drive?
